Sunday Again? Already? So Soon?

I seem to only be posting once a week lately and even then I’m often at a loss for something new to post.  I can’t blame it on the heat of the summer – all we’ve had is rain and no high temperatures at all.

I got my Boxed Squares quilted and bound yesterday.

This was made with one package of Bali Pops and surprise, surprise, I used my favourite Swirls template to quilt it.

Earlier in the week I embroidered a couple more fingertip towels for Sandra since she liked the other ones so much.

Fingertip Towels

I’ve been searching all over for more towels and finally found some for sale on EBay from a seller willing to ship to Canada – trust me, that isn’t always easy!

Sandra sent me these pictures of my grandkitty Miles this morning.  He was helping clean up after Darren had made a dessert yesterday.

Looks like he’s enjoying it!

I love your box quilt. Great fabric selection & design.

I also love your machine embroidered towels. Did you creat the ME design? I don't recognize the manufacturer. I love cats and currently looking for whimsical cats. To clarify, I also love photos of cats on quilts too....as I love cats.

Thanks for sharing.

Some cats will do anything- I thought Mars was unusual because she will try and dry milk out of my husband's glass, loves soft vanilla ice cream and flushes the toilet independently LOL.
However your son's kitty looks pretty funny eating dessert.

I love your Bali pops quilt- great colors and beautiful swirling pattern that you created on it.
Your finger tip towels are wonderful too.

Hope you have a great week.
Regards,
Anna

I think the swirls will become my favorite too. Although I do love the clam shell template.

What a smart kitty? Hey here's some fabric for the kitty.

I can't blame the kitty for wanting to lick the beaters of the mixer - I always liked it too!

I really love the circular motion of the quilting with the square blocks!

The swirls quilting is just perfect for this one. I'm struggling to see the leaves I'm freehand quilting on a scrappy HeartStrings top and I think I need to just put the swirls template on and get some of them done without so much difficulty...of course a panto would be easier too.

I can't believe that cat is licking the beater ...cute!
