I've had Pink cranked on the iPod today while I pieced the back for my quilt. I may have mentioned before that piecing backings is my least favourite part of the quilt making process. Since this top is 98" x 98" I needed almost 9 yards of backing fabric. There goes all that bargain white fabric I bought in Maine. Now I'm just going to have to go back!
Hopefully the next time you see this it will be all quilted and bound. Mary gave me some great suggestions for quilting so I'm all set.
I've also figured out how to feed two addictions at once.
Now I can play Scrabble on Facebook while I'm sewing.
I'm sick, I know.

I think that is a creative way to stay connected to the net and still sew- I haven't figured out how to do that with my machine yet- its a matter of having enough plug ins- the bane of living in an older home!
Your quilt is gorgeous Irene - I have gone to my stash think I might have found a nice combination of fabrics for a trip around the world quilt- We shall see if this what I end up doing.

Anna
Beautiful quilt! I'm looking forward to seeing how you quilt it, it's huge!
ROFL at the pic of the laptop next to the machine. That pic could have been taken in my sewing room! I don't think you're sick at all. Just resourceful!
And thanks for the song! ;-)
Talk about multi-tasking!
I agree with you about piecing backs. I live for sales on 108" fabric!
I haven't tried scrabble on facebook but I'm on a roll here at home and have won the last few games against Keith....sweet!
You are such a multi-tasker. Lovely quilt.
