I took this picture through a screen window so it isn't as clear as it could be. I'd love to see the magnolias in Charleston when they are in bloom. We visited there a number of years ago while there were still a few left over blooms on the trees and they were the size of dinner plates.
From magnolias to Christmas. I finished this runner yesterday.
I just stitched in the ditch as I didn't think it needed a lot of quilting. Sometimes I think we longarmers feel the need to have everything quilted like crazy, and it really isn't always necessary. Of course, if I could quilt like some of my quilting idols, I might think differently.
Speaking of idols, it's almost time for American Idol. I've been recording it all year as I bowled on Tuesday nights, but bowling is over for the season so now I get to watch it live. I'm pulling for Adam, Danny & Alison for the top 3. I'd be happy if either Adam or Danny won and I'd also be happy if they got rid of Paula - she drives me nuts!

I love your Santa table runner. Where did you find the pattern? It is lovely. You did a great job.
Many wonderful quilts on your site. Thanks for sharing.
I love magnolias too! Cute Santa runner.
Love the Santa runner - I'd like more info too - pattern?
The magnolias are so beautiful...we don't see those here at all. I love the Santa runner and would love pattern info as well! I'm an AI junkie too (do we have another problem?!!) I think Adam is hugely talented but his music doesn't appeal to me. Allison is a great singer too, but I'd like to see Danny win. I think they'll all likely get recording contracts after it's over.
The Santa runner is adorable! I also think that your quilting looks really nice with the pattern!
Adam is my favorite! I loved his dramatic enterance coming down the stairs in his white suit a few weeks ago.
