
It's always a nice feeling to get another UFO crossed off the list. You may remember I posted pictures of some of these blocks just before Christmas when I was stitching them out. I did some freemotion background filler on them and was fairly pleased with the results - I also found out black is very forgiving so the mistakes aren't as obvious as they would be on a lighter fabric. I also learned I need to buy some black batting which I think would make working on black fronts & backs a lot easier.

For those of you interested in the designs, I purchased them from San Francisco Stitch Company. Their designs are very reasonable and while they do have a LOT of jump stitches, they look very nice when they are finished.

I think it looks great Irene. I do use black batting with dark tops. If i want more loft I use QD Puff with a layer of QD midnight poly select on top.
